An impressive metal bonsai tree welcomes guests to KYOTO YURA HOTEL MGallery, promising peace, harmony, and balance during their stay at this mysterious hideaway in the ancient capital city, Kyoto.
Travel through time to a place where contemporary design mingles with historic features, to an intimate boutique hotel that tells the story of an era that marked Japanese history. When the Samurai returned authority to the emperor in 1867 (also the name of the hotel bar), Japan opened gateways to the West, incorporating western culture into its lifestyle.
The 5-star hotel is infused with this blend of old and new, East meets West – from the one-of-a-kind grill restaurant and atmospheric bar to the decor in the luxurious rooms and suites. Located in the vibrant district of Sanjo, near the Kamo River, all of Kyoto’s major attractions, shopping centers, museums, temples, shrines, and entertainment hubs are reachable by foot.
Ideal for a mother-daughter getaway filled with afternoon tea breaks and strolls through Gion, a shopping trip along Kawaramachi with friends, a romantic city break, or sightseeing with the family. Memorable moments are always in store when you stay with MGallery.
Each boutique hotel in the MGallery collection tells a unique story, inviting guests to immerse themselves in tales of adventure, romance, history, culture, nature and more for the length of a memorable stay. Discover the high points of our story here.
